How It Works

Honoring your loved one with a custom memorial piece is simple. Follow these steps to place your order:

1. Contact Us

To begin your order or request more information, please email us at MuddigsPottery@gmail.com.

2. Prepare & Ship the Ashes

  • Place a small amount (at least 1 teaspoon) of your loved one's ashes in a sealed plastic bag, double-wrapped for protection.

  • Ship the ashes via USPS to our studio: Mud Digs Pottery
    1909 Forest Dr, Waynesboro, VA 22980

  • Please do not send more than 1 tablespoon per item.

3. Creating Your Memorial Piece

  • Once we receive the ashes, we will confirm your order via phone or email.

  • Our artisans will carefully infuse the ashes into the glaze of your chosen piece.

  • Each order takes approximately 6 weeks to complete.

  • All unused ashes will be returned with your finished memorial pottery.
